Employee Benefits Administrator

Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £19,500 – £25,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Employee Benefits Administrator to join a leading independent UK Consultancy who specialise in all aspects of risk, insurance, pensions and investment. They currently provide ongoing consultancy services to over 200 clients and have experienced significant growth since they were founded 30 years ago. They aim to continue this growth by recruiting people who share in their values of trust, integrity and quality.

 

The Opportunity

You will be joining a friendly organisation and be part of the close knit Client Support Team who provide assistance to the Team Leader, Health Consultants, Client Account Managers and Client Relationship Managers. The role offers good variety as you will be looking after a range of Group Risk schemes including Group Life, Group Income Protection and Group Critical Illness.

 

Duties

  • Attending client meetings
  • Assisting the Team Leader, CRM, CAM and Health Consultant in the preparation of reports and collating information for reports covering technical matters and advice;
  • Managing relationships between providers and clients
  • Checking provider issued accounts and issuing statements to clients
  • Analysing information and assisting in preparing recommendations of appropriate solutions for clients;
  • Drafting specifications of services, deadlines and remuneration with clients;
  • Delivering agreed services in accordance with agreed time schedules and budget with each allocated client;
  • Keeping client files compliant
  • Answering relevant calls that come in from various Workplace Health and Wealth helplines
  • Keeping all Workplace Health and Wealth databases up to date

About You

  • You’ll need a good academic record including Maths & English (GCSE grade C or above)
  • Familiarity with IT systems, in particular Excel with some Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication skills and a team ethic
  • Ideally you will have some relevant financial services background and experience
  • Be qualified to, or working towards CII GR1 and/or IF7
